I'm thinking about adding tech section for suspsnsion, exterior, interior and stereo in the forum what do ya guys think? it will be good addtion to the forum.

Just received my VM9411 tihs morning.
wiring harness is done (while I'm at work) switch is set for TV, I'm gonna put it in before I come up to kmart so I can test it....

Ok I got it wired. I was actuall reading the instruction.
here is what i found for 9411.
Switch(on as grounded off as not)

if brake is on (wire grounded) then tv shows errors,
turn the switch off for one sec and turn it back on)
(on as grounded off as not)

otherwise it should work just being grounded.

ot if switch is on off position, then you turn it on for 2 sec turn it off then turn it back on. should work.

so far working ok on mine.

I just have a three position switched rigged up to the green wire from the H.U. The center is off, the one side "on" is if the parking brake was off, and the other side "on" is if the parking brake were on.

So basically, my screen is either off, says "driver should not watch while operating vehicle," or it plays the movie.

I also have the positive of the monitor hooked up to the remote wire and whatnot using a relay. My monitor is located seperate from the H.U.

That setup works great, but I wish I was the passenger sometimes.

hmmm isn't that would be easier just sire the one switcha dn other end go to ground? so you can just flip switch to watch tv.
