project take my time to do it right 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
ok so last week end i traveled about 2 hours to pick up my new engine. a ford 302 with an auto tranny both for $50. the guy told me they where from the late 70's out of a truck. so today i started to take it appart and well turns out its actually a 351w . it looks like the head gaskets blew out. and since it was sitting for a few years the heads are bad. but thats ok i was going to changed them anyway. i will be taking it in and having the block done. now i just cant wait to see it in the mazda.

i dont have any pics right now but i will put some up tomorrow.
