Hobart Handler 125ez welder 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
Just got a Hobart welder and wondering if anyone else has used this welder before and if so, your advice, thoughts and comments would be helpful...I have heard both good and bad so I hope I made a good choise...

isn't hobart another brand of lincoln? or miller? Ithink only difference is that _meta_l parts are replaced with plascti parts..

there isnt really much plastic on or in welders do begin with i think they are brand of lincoln i never used one before and i weld every day but i use miller post up the specs of the welder ill tell ya wats up with it...?? hows it weld anyway??

the welder would be fun to play with. If you dont know how to weld you will get a feel for what it is like. Being I already know how to weld I would never buy a machine like that. I repair and use all different types of welders everyday.
The downsides to this welder is that you cannot fine adjust any of the settings since it is already set for you. The fact that it is such a small welder you cannot really do any type of _frame_ work or thick steel. And since you can only use flux cored wire it isnt gonna be that good for thin bodywork.

Hobart is a brand of Miller not Lincoln. You're gonna learn really quick that flux core sucks alot of ass too and is frowned upon for _frame_ welding. Like Brian said it's not good for bodywork because flux welds alot hotter and will burn through and warp thin _meta_l easily.
