Father's Day Car Show & ELTC 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I'd like to take this opportunity to give a heart felt thanks to Rob and the fine members of the Exceeding Limits Truck Club. Sunday June 15, 2008 marked the 8th annual benefit Father's Day car show hosted by the "3 Old Cranks" held at Fireman's Field in Merrick which was co-managed by Exceeding limits this year.
We approached Rob earlier this year about helping us out with manpower at the show in return for sharing what we know about planning, setting up, and running a sucessful car show. Rob agreed and had members show up to do everything from helping man the main gate, to directing car parking, and even cleaning up the field at the end of the day.
The club showed its true colors and the members were a terrific addition to the event. The 3 Old Cranks and MotorMouth Radio would be proud to work with Exceeding Limits any time the opportunity arises again, and are happy to have them as friends.
One last note- I forgot their names, but Chuck's son and daughter were the stars of the show! Once they got the hang of "working the gate" they couldn't be stopped!! That's my job at the show, and they did it every but as good as I can! These kids are going to be a great asset to the club as they grow with it, and I'm sure the club is very proud to have them along.
Thanks again, and I hope to see all you guys real soon. Ray

It was a great show and thanks for letting us be apart of it. I learned a lot, even though my time at the show was short, from being able to help out. I can honestly say it was fun and wouldn’t mind helping out again if needed.
